USS Kenneth D. Bailey (DD-713)
On March 4, 1959, USS Kenneth D. Bailey collision with USNS Haiti Victory (T-AK-238) took place in the
Strait of Gibraltar. One man on USS Kenneth D. Bailey was killed and 24 crew members injured. Both ships
survived the accident. USS Kenneth D. Bailey was modernized and upgraded, and was finally decommissioned in 1970.
